Great Beginner Crystals

There are so many crystals on the planet, and I just know there's some that are perfect for your collection! Each one has different energy and properties, making crystal shopping one of my favorite hobbies...

If you are lucky, you have a local magickal store in your neghborhood. If so, please shop local-those businesses are awesome! But if not you can find a wide variety on line, in many Etsy shops and of course, on Amazon.

Books are one of my loves! There's tons of cyrstal books on the market, so pick one that feels right for you. I personally love The Crystal Bible by Judy Hall as a great starting place for a beginner.

Crystals all have an energy or properties of their own, but when we use them they also absorb ours. Charging/clearing your crystals once a month is recommended. Set them out under a full moon or under the bright sun on a sunny day to clear them.

Everywhere you are! You can set them on your desk while you work, tuck them in your bra or pocket, and place them on your nightstand before you go to bed. Want to level up on your crystal's properties? Try anointing it with your favorite essential oil for double the power!

Oh, Yes. I am a big fan of age appropriate oils and crystals in the hands of our children. What a beautiful thing to help empower them from such a young age! Have them pick a crystal with courage energy for before a big test, have them carry one for protection in their pocket! Start them young.
